Are there any funding options?

Yes, there is the Alberta Client Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI) Program which allows you to select an approved private agency (like us!) of your choosing for your authorized home care services.

Can I select multiple services?

Absolutely. During the Initial Consultation we will go through all of your needs and wants to determine which services are best for you.

What if I don't know what I need?

Following an Information Session, we provide an Initial Consultation to assess your needs and recommend services. Further, AHS does in-home assessments to determine government assistance and funding qualifications.

Do you create custom care plans?

Yes. We build a detailed care plan for every client and continuously review it to ensure that as your needs change, our medical and non-medical assistance evolves with you.

Who will be providing my care?

To ensure you receive the right support without paying for unnecessary services, we assign staff based on your care plan. This may include: Registered Nurses (RN), Registered Practical Nurses (RPN), Home Care Aides (HCA), and Personal Support Workers (PSW).

Is there a minimum visit duration for home care?

Yes, we require a minimum visit charge of 1.5 hours to ensure our staff can provide meaningful and unhurried care.

Can I change my services?

Of course. Following the Initial Consultation, we will create a personalized care plan for you. This care plan can be revised at any time or as necessary.
