Alberta Client Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI) Program

What it is: Once you are approved for the CDHCI program, the cost of your authorized home care is covered, giving you the freedom to hire the private agency of your choice. This means you can select us to provide your care using your public funding.

  • The benefit: This program gives you more choice over your provider and more control over your schedule, with the administrative invoicing handled directly with Alberta Blue Cross.

Private & Employer Health Benefits

Many private and employer-sponsored health benefit plans offer coverage for nursing services provided in the home.

  • We encourage you to check with your provider to see if your plan includes coverage for services delivered by a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

  • Coverage is often available for services that require the specific skills of a nurse, such as wound care, injections, or medication management.
